About Me

Hello! I'm Nicole, the heart and soul behind Nicole Schules Photography. Based in Mount Laurel, NJ, I specialize in portrait photography, capturing the unique essence of families and their cherished moments.

My journey with photography began in an unconventional way—during a college course in forensic photography. This unexpected introduction sparked a passion for the art, leading me to change my major to Fine Arts with a focus on photography. In 2013, I graduated from Stockton University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts.

After college, I delved into the world of photography. I worked as a photographer and editor for a magazine in Cape May, NJ, and also took on photo editing for a prominent Philadelphia-based wedding photographer. It wasn't long before I started capturing my own shoots, blending my growing expertise with my creativity.

Life took a wonderful turn when I married my husband and we welcomed three beautiful children into our lives. While my heart has been devoted to my family for the past six years, I never let go of my passion for photography. I continued to edit and shoot whenever I could, balancing the demands of motherhood with my creative pursuits.

Now, as my children begin their elementary and preschool journeys, I'm excited to expand my photography into a full-fledged business. My experience with various photo subjects and styles has refined my skills, but my true love lies in photographing families. There’s something profoundly special about capturing the fleeting, precious moments as families grow and create lasting memories.
